Testing Automation Readiness Assessment

This assessment will assist you to find out of what - if any - changes might be required to ensure the smooth introduction of an automated approach within the scope of your overall testing methodology. If areas of required improvement are identified, we will probably suggest a strategy and planning engagement, in order to assist with the expansion of the organisation's test strategy and planning and to help ensure a safe and manageable introduction to automation.If the readiness evaluation identifies specific elements of your testing strategy which we feel require attention, our experienced consultants will undertake a strategy and planning engagement which will allow them to guide you along the automation path. All our consultants have had significant previous involvement with the transition to an automated testing approach.

The strategy and planning engagement includes the development of, but is in no way limited to:
    * Separate recommendations for individual test phases and stages
    * Creation of a pre-test checklist, including risk assessment and test planning
    * Separate strategies for Development, Unit and System testing
    * A strategy for User Acceptance testing
    * Strategies for dealing with test data, error reporting and tracking, quality metrics, reporting and more.

If your organisation already has a well-defined automated testing strategy, this engagement will probably be the starting point of your implementation. Original Software consultants will work in partnership with your testing team management to ensure that the introduction of our automation platform is as seamless as possible and that the migration from manual to automated testing happens in a staged and manageable manner.
