What is the purpose of the association?

    * The International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB e.V.) is devoted to professionalizing requirements engineering.
    * Professionalism means employing recognised methods and processes, publishing new findings, and conveying knowledge and best practices in requirements engineering to the interested community.


In what form does IREB e.V. make available the results of its work?

    * IREB e.V. draws up internationally recognised syllabi in successive qualification levels for the field of requirements engineering.
    * It defines associated certification levels that can be earned by taking tests.
    * IREB e.V. cooperates with certification bodies and training providers and has them enter into agreements that oblige them to abide by the goals set down by IREB e.V.


Who are the members of the association?

      The members are international experts and active advocates of requirements engineering from business and industry, research and education. The only type of association membership available is a personal membership.


Who represents the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB e.V.) e.V.?

      IREB e.V. is a registered association with registered office in Fürth. The chairman of the association is Chris Rupp, deputy chairman is Rainer Grau. Karol Frühauf is treasurer of the association.
