Senior Automation Testing Engineer

Skunkworks is seeking a talented individual to work in a small team to help develop and implement a mobile application that helps ousers keep in touch with where their friends are, invite them to places, and see interesting places nearby. The ideal candidate should have a passion in developing testing frameworks for multiple mobile platform, e.g Android and iOS. This individual should be open minded, detail oriented, able to plan and think n a long-term basis, and flexible to adjust to project schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Analyze and understand the feature specifications produced by the product team
•  Design and execute test cases the mobile app according to the specifications
•  Build the automation frameworks for all products
•  Collaborate with the server and the product team to provide feedback and guidance to setting the test strategies
•  Work with other QC developers to set standards and define best practices for coding and design
•  Scope out and develop high level testing plans
•  Help identify system/design issues and help implement solutions

 
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

•  3+ years of experience in automation testing
•  Skillful in both automation and manual testing
•  A firm understanding of building an automation platform
•  Experience with these programming languages – e.g., C/C++, Java, SQL is a plus
•  Communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms
•  Highly motivated and can work independently without constant supervision
•  Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
•  Great English verbal and written communication skills
•  Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
•  Comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth start-up environment
